Male factors contribute to around 50% of problems for women trying to get pregnant. In general, around 20% of all men have poor sperm quality. As men get older, the sperm quality decreases making it more difficult for a successful conception.

The Sperm Test determines if the number of spermatozoa is at an adequate level for conception to occur with sexual intercourse – subject to female partner’s ovulation on time. A low sperm count indicates less likelihood of conception. For some men, a healthy diet and lifestyle can help restore normal sperm quality but always speak with your doctor if you have symptoms that concern you, or before changing your medication.
