Remove the cap: Take the cap off the test midstream to expose the absorbent tip.
Collect the sample:
Directly in urine stream: Hold the midstream so the absorbent tip points downward and place it in your urine stream for at least 5-15 seconds, ensuring the tip is fully wet.
From a cup: Alternatively, urinate into a clean, dry container and dip the absorbent tip into the urine for at least 10 seconds.
Replace the cap: Put the cap back on the device (optional, but some instructions recommend it).
Lay the test down: Place the test on a clean, flat, stable surface with the windows facing up.
Start timing: Begin timing immediately.
