Amo Ngoepe is a certified executive and life coach in Neuro Linguistic Programming, a general counselor, a yoga teacher, an ordained minister, a mental health advocate and a talent development consultant; she is currently training to become a therapist, a psychoanalyst with the South African Psychoanalytic Association (SAPA). 

Amd holds a Masters in Psychology and Religion from Union Theological Seminary at Columbia University in New York, as well as a BSc. (Honors) in Quantity Surveying from the University of the Witwaterstand. She has work experience in Johannesburg as a management consultant and professional development specialist with McKinsey & Company, business development with Chapter One Innovation and as a Quantity Surveyor with Murray & Roberts. She has worked in chaplaincy and pastoral roles at NYU Langone and Middle Collegiate Church in New York, as well as Old South Church in Boston. She has presented academic papers at the intersect of psychology and religion at the American Academy of Religion and Yale Divinity Schools's epistemology conference.
