The Vaginal Infection Rapid Self Test is a discreet at-home kit that helps screen for common causes of abnormal discharge, itching, burning, or odour, including bacterial imbalance, bacterial vaginosis, or yeast infection. The single-use kit is simple to use: collect a sample in three easy steps and read results within minutes.

This test is useful for those seeking guidance before visiting a pharmacist or gynecologist, helping ensure the correct antifungal or antibacterial treatment is used promptly. It has good real-world accuracy and provides immediate information without an office visit.

If you are pregnant, have severe pain, fever, recurrent infections, or if test results conflict with your symptoms, seek professional medical advice. Keep the result to share with your healthcare provider for confirmation and appropriate treatment.

1 sealed aluminium pouch containing:1 test device

Prepare: Wash your hands thoroughly and allow the test kit components to reach room temperature (15–30°C) if instructed. Remove the test panel from its sealed pouch and place it on a clean, level surface.

Collect the sample: Carefully insert the swab so the paper part or swab head is in contact with the vaginal wall to collect fluid.

Process the sample: Apply the swab to the designated area on the test panel at least five times, ensuring enough secretion is transferred.

Read the results: Immediately read the result while the measurement zone is still wet. Compare the color on the test unit to the color scale on the test pouch to determine your vaginal pH level.

Interpret the results: Normal range: Typically, a pH between
3.8
3.8 and
4.4
4.4 is considered normal, and the test may show a yellow-green color. Abnormal range: A pH outside this range may indicate a potential imbalance. High pH (over
4.4
4.4): May be green-blue. Low pH (under
3.8
3.8): May be bright yellow.

Other test types: Some tests may change color to indicate a possible yeast infection or other issues.

Follow up: Discuss your results with a healthcare provider. An abnormal result does not automatically confirm an infection, and a normal result does not rule one out, so a professional diagnosis is necessary for proper care.
